Starting at the exhibition How Will We Work?, we’ll search for traces in the oft-cited age of automation. Pottery-making robots, mobile crowdworking stations, and computers running hot will serve as the basis for discussion. The path will lead us past the workshops of the University of Applied Arts, where digital manufacturing methods have long been established, and ultimately finish at the MAK with the exhibition Stadtfabrik [City Factory]: New Work. New Design. Here, the traces found beforehand will fuse with Frithjof Bergmann’s concept of New Work
